Use OpenMind in Your Classroom

To begin using OpenMind in your classroom, follow these two easy steps:
Try out the full “administrator” version of OpenMind. This version differs from what your students will experience in the following ways: (1) You won’t need to create a username and password, (2) You can skip the pre-assessment survey, and (3) You can move around across the steps without completing each one.
In order to begin using OpenMind with your students, you will need to create a unique access code for your classroom or campus. This link will enable you to create as many access codes as you like and will provide you with instructions on how your students can begin using OpenMind.

Use Our Workshop Materials

OpenMind is meant to be a catalyst for face-to-face conversations. We encourage you to follow up the OpenMind program by leading a facilitated dialogue with your students so they can practice the skills they learned in a structured manner.

Click below to download our facilitator guide and student handout. These materials are still in early stages so they’re in Word format in order to allow editing. Please provide us with feedback on your experience using the workshop materials and suggestions on how they can be improved. We’re eager to hear from you!

First-Year Programming
We are seeking to partner with universities who are interested in using OpenMind on a broader scale on their campus. OpenMind can be a valuable addition to orientation, first-year experience programs, or it can be assigned to incoming students as part of their summer common read.

We are eager to work with you to customize OpenMind to fit the specific needs of your community. To learn more, please contact us at info@openmindplatform.org.
